Chief Executive Manager
Wayne was born and raised in southwestern Pennsylvania, about 50 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. He is a United States Air Force veteran and has been living in Austin since being stationed at Bergstrom Air Force base in 1979. Wayne married his wife Debbi in 1984. They have raised 3 sons and have 3 grandchildren.
After his separation from the Air Force, Wayne worked as a Plumbing Apprentice, working on a top-out crew and then a set-out crew. After plumbing, Wayne went to work as an Equipment Maintenance Technician for a semiconductor manufacturing company, where he was responsible for the maintenance, support and upgrade of production manufacturing equipment.
After being out of the workforce for a number of years due to medical reasons, Wayne has returned to the working world as owner of Bat City Builders. Recognizing that the construction industry is a very tough industry, Wayne very much enjoys working with clients to assist them in transforming their projects from concept into reality.
CEO and Owner
Dawn spent her childhood playing soccer and being a girl scout in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She has always excelled at math and science and loved to explore. She graduated from High School and moved to Kalamazoo Michigan to study Hydrogeology. She focused not on the oil industry but the environmental industry and went to work for MWH in Chicago Illinois.
In 2001 she had the opportunity to move to Washington DC area where she continued doing environmental work as well as went to school for her Masters in Business Administration as well as revived her Professional Project Management certification. At this point her career took off given all the amazing opportunities she was exposed to.
Soon after, she met her wonderful Husband Joe, and they moved to Austin TX in 2013. Here in Austin she spent time in Real Estate, became an expert in Negotiation, and started a management consulting firm named Orange Sea Turtle Group, LLC. She is the business mind behind Bat City Builders, LLC. She makes sure contracts are right, bills are paid, and clients are happy.
Dylan is an original Austinite and graduated from Pflugerville High. He joined the enlisted ranks right out of high school and returned home after his stent with the Army was complete. Dylan decided to follow in his family’s footsteps and went to work in the residential construction industry. During this time, he became a Certified Remodeler through NARI and built up his welding skills at ACC.
Dylan is married to his wonderful wife Angie and has 2 awesome kids: Sophie and Hudson. Most of his time off is spent with the kids in the outdoors or building other life skill sets preparing them for their future. He is the current Cub Master for his son’s Cub Scout Pack and helped his daughter cross over to a BSA Scout troop last year.
Dylan is a proud member of the Bat City Builder’s Team as Project Manager. He has 19 years of experience in the field as a project manager and has completed hundreds of projects in that time. He formally sat on the board of directors for the local Austin NARI Chapter for 3 years and has won multiple Contractor of the Year Awards for his projects in various categories. Dylan thrives on his passion for building and remodeling and he continues to look forward to every great new project that comes his way.
