In 2021, Bat City Builders was presented with NARI’s Regional Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award and the Texas Association of Builders’ Star Award for Best Bathroom Renovation. This modern bathroom came out of a complete renovation, with everything from top to bottom being brand new. In order to create a more spacious, warm environment, an interior wall was relocated, the shower transformed into an open walk-in, and a large window was added to frame the free-standing bathtub. A custom-built plant hanger is fastened above the tub, where the plants will flourish with the natural light. Artificial light comes from the LEDs set within the mirrors of the floating double vanity and below the cabinet. Finally, the electrical, plumbing, and drain lines were all moved in order to best fit the features of the room.
