Revitalize Your Home

Revitalize

May 19, 2020

Summer is here and there is never a better time to start revitalizing your home. I always take a little time to organize and pursue some creative new ideas for my home this time of year and wanted to share some with you.

Let us start by adding some more functions to your closets. Closet organizers and hanging hooks can completely revamp your closets and make your life less chaotic and more functional. There are a variety of tools available for you to use so look around and start organizing.

Even if you do not have a lot of closet space, you can use other tools to clear away unwanted clutter in your home. Hooks can be used for so many things! If you have a garage you can use hooks to hang a variety of gardening tools. Placing them on the backs of closet doors can give you a place to hang things that may otherwise just be draped over couches or chairs. Hang up pots and pans that cannot fit inside your cabinets to reduce clutter in your kitchen.

One way to spruce up the home is by bringing some green inside. Growing herbs for cooking is a fun project for everyone. Different designs for growing containers are nearly endless, allowing you to find the perfect match for your home. An indoor or outdoor garden is something that the whole family can take part in and get creative with.

Baskets and shelving used together are a great way of saving space with elegant storage. You can use them as excellent tools for organizing bills, books, toys, and many other items that might be covering your surfaces. With some extra creativity, your house can be revamped into a sleeker more functional home for you and your family.

You can add some more functions to hallways and empty wall space with calendars and small box organizers. Give yourself space for mail and notes to go instead of on your counters or coffee table. Dry-erase boards can be great for quick reminders as you are running out the door or sending your child off to school. Adding some small shelves around your home can give you a lot of extra surface space to help you organize your belongings.
